Neapco is focused and driven to provide exemplary service and premium products to all customers. Recently, we have been made aware of concerns regarding the condition of our shipments when they arrive at our customers’ locations. We want to assure you that our shipments are professionally packaged, properly labeled, and given a final inspection prior to leaving our facility. Unfortunately, from time to time, shipments do get damaged during the transportation process.

 

It is imperative that our customers do a visual inspection of all shipments, PRIOR to signing the Bill of Lading (BOL) from the freight carrier. Damage incurred during the transportation process MUST be noted and claimed on the Bill of Lading when you receive the shipment. If damage is not noted on the BOL, the shipper will deny any wrongdoing and Neapco will have no recourse to make any claims for your damaged goods. We are asking for your help with this concern, by requesting that you inspect all shipments and note any damage on the BOL prior to signing the BOL.

With that said, in efforts to focus appropriate corrective action on the issue, Neapco has researched new options for TL and LTL shipments from our distribution centers. As part of our Continuous Improvement initiatives, we reached an agreement with Penske Logistics to be our new logistics provider effective August 1, 2020.

We are proud to partner with Penske and are confident their professionalism, efficiencies, and pride in providing higher quality delivery services will bring greater value to our customers as well. We are confident this change will be seamless and bring no disruptions to any shipments. We are equally confident in Penske’s ability to deliver our products to you in the same condition in which they left our facility.
